Job summary

CGR Services is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer in New Zealand for a hybrid role spanning frontend and backend work in a global fintech environment. You will own features end-to-end, including architecture decisions, platform reliability, and collaboration with product and compliance teams.

The ideal candidate has 6–10+ years of production-grade web app experience, strong UI tech like Vue/React, and solid C#/.NET backend skills, plus AWS, databases, and automated testing experience.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years building production web apps end-to-end.
• Front-end with Vue.js/React or similar frameworks.
• Strong back-end experience, preferably C#/.NET; Java/Kotlin/Go also welcome.
• Relational DB skills (SQL).
• Experience with automated tests in SDLC.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
• AWS cloud, CI/CD, modern deployments including SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, Lambda.
• Knowledge of microservices, event-driven systems, architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own customer-facing features and backend services across the full stack.
• Build platforms for onboarding, compliance, payments, FX, settlement, and related services.
• Lead delivery of high-impact features from concept to production.
• Own production health and operations, observability, incident response, on-call support.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Compliance, and Eng teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Lead design reviews and establish engineering best practices.
