Job summary

Serko is a leading tech platform in global business travel and expense technology. We seek a Senior Engineer who will own major initiatives end-to-end, collaborating across Product and Technology to deliver high-quality software that delights customers.

You will tackle complex system-level challenges, mentor junior engineers, and help elevate our core infrastructure and design systems. You’ll operate with autonomy and ship production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Deep front-end and full-stack craft with Next.js/React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and Python fluency.
• Strong understanding of AI and agentic capabilities for safe, scalable product adoption.
• Experience integrating shared platform services and developer infrastructure (CI/CD, test automation).
• Excellent collaboration and mentorship skills with cross-team buy-in and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product and Technology to build quality software for customers.
• Break down ambiguous problems into clear technical approaches and actionable work.
• Champion consistent coding, testing, and delivery practices within the team.
• Deliver clean, production-ready solutions with monitoring, alerts, and run books.
• Address cross-cutting concerns early in the development cycle.
• Own outcomes to ensure predictability and alignment with goals.
• Mentor Engineers through pairing, reviews, and guidance.
• Support junior engineers to grow and ship faster.
