Our exciting role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Freshwater Ecologist to join our growing team in Auckland. In this role you would work collaboratively within a multidiscipline environment, to provide expert advice and assist the delivery of high quality terrestrial or freshwater and wetland surveys, assessments, management and monitoring programs.

You would work within a highly motivated team who are passionate about the environment, ecology, sustainable solutions and who love their workplace. At Bioresearches, every day is different, and every day makes a difference.

What you’ll need

• 4+ year’s industry experience
• A degree-based professional qualification in ecology or environmental sciences, or equivalent experience
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of New Zealand ecology
• Strong report writing skillset
• Preference for experience with New Zealand freshwater systems
