Job summary

Madisonrecruitment is seeking a senior Financial Crime Analytics professional for a large financial services organisation in Auckland. Lead the development and refinement of Financial Crime models, deliver advanced analysis and translate insights into strategic recommendations.

You'll work with large, complex datasets, partner across Financial Crime, Compliance, Risk and the wider business, and provide technical leadership to strengthen analytics capability across the team.

Qualifications

• Senior analytics experience with complex data and models.
• Experience partnering with Financial Crime, Compliance, Risk and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Financial Crime typologies, customer risk, monitoring.
• Understanding regulatory trends in Financial Crime.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and refinement of Financial Crime models across BAU and project initiatives.
• Apply data analytics, data science, statistical modelling and visualisation to complex Financial Crime challenges.
• Assess models, calculators and related analytics for effectiveness and fitness.
• Extract, manipulate and analyse large datasets to deliver insights and recommendations.
• Translate regulatory and risk requirements into practical analytical solutions.
• Contribute to model assessment, planning and the longer-term direction of analytics tools and platforms.
• Build relationships across Financial Crime, Compliance, Risk and the wider business.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to strengthen analytics capability.
