Job summary

New Zealand Defence Force is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to influence the organisation's digital modernisation journey. You will shape enterprise-level decisions and guide architecture across land, maritime, air, cyber and space domains, aligning today’s investments with a secure, adaptable future state.

You will lead the development of roadmaps, standards and blueprints, collaborating with senior leaders and subject matter experts to ensure coherence and resilience across NZDF’s

Qualifications

Significant experience in enterprise architecture within a large organisation.
Proven ability translating organisational needs into strategy and architecture.
Strong understanding of contemporary architecture approaches, including digital ecosystems, platforms, cloud services, data, integration and security.
Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve architecture roadmaps, principles, standards, and practices.
Develop and maintain reference architectures and blueprints.
Shape digital ecosystems and platforms to be fit for purpose across information environments.
Work collaboratively with other architects, customers and subject matter experts.
