Job summary

LAB3, a leading Azure engineering practice in Australasia, seeks Senior Engineers- Cloud & DevOps. Remote across Australia/NZ with AEST hours, you will manage, deliver and support Azure solutions meeting client needs.

You will drive deployment of large cloud projects, plan IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with architects to optimize workloads, security and governance while supporting post-implementation activities.

Qualifications

• Azure Cloud: IaaS/PaaS/SaaS.
• Infrastructure Automation with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, configuration management.
• IaC: Terraform, Powershell, ARM, Ansible, Bash, Go, Python, Chef.

Responsibilities

• Manage, support and deliver Azure patterns addressing scalability, reliability, security and performance.
• Drive deployment and support of large, complex cloud projects.
• Plan, provision and implement Azure infrastructure services as part of IaC projects with CI/CD.
• Gather specs and deliver client solutions, identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with architects and peers to create Azure reference architectures.
• Contribute to delivery of multiple engagements and transitions to post-implementation support.
• Recommend client value creation and industry best practices.

Job description

LAB3 is one of the largest Azure engineering practices in the Australasia region with a focus on Cloud & DevOps, Data, IoT & AI, Modern Workplace, Modern Apps & Integration, Security, andNetwork services.We are looking for Senior Engineers- Cloud & DevOps, ideally based anywhere in Australia or NZ (but open to work AEST hours) with deep experience in Azure Cloud & DevOps tomanage, deliver and support the technical solutions on Microsoft Azure Platform that meet our clients’needs.

The Role

• Manage, support and deliver state-of-the-art technical patterns on Azure that address clients’ requirements for scalability, reliability, security and optimised performance.
• Drive the deployment, and support of large, complex cloud projects.
• Hands-on planning, provisioning, and implementation of Azure infrastructure services as part of IaC projects, leveraging CI/CD tools and pipelines
• Gather specifications and deliver solutions to our client, identify growth opportunities.
• Partner with architects, consultants and peers to jointly create & review functional design specifications and Azure reference architectures.
• Contribute to the technical delivery and execution of multiple critical engagements.
• Play a key role in the build and optimisation of Azure workloads and transition to post implementation support.
• Recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices where relevant.
• Work with business stakeholders, internal and external engineers effectively, understand issues, provide recommendations, and deliver appropriate technical solutions.
