Job summary

Chubb Fire & Security in Auckland is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Technician to service and troubleshoot intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, and related systems across commercial sites. You will support compliance testing, minor installations, and ongoing customer-focused service, working with a team of technicians and project personnel.

The role requires a COA, a current NZ driver licence, and strong fault-finding abilities.

Qualifications

• Proven electronic security experience in commercial/enterprise environments.
• A current COA is required.
• Current NZ driver licence is required.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and fault-find electronic security systems.
• Complete minor installations and system upgrades.
• Diagnose faults across integrated systems and produce accurate reports.
• Plan workload to meet customer commitments and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with technicians, project teams and subcontractors.
