Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Transmission Line Engineer to lead overhead transmission line design across multiple NZ locations including Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington and Christchurch. You will apply your hands-on expertise to deliver robust, code-compliant solutions and mentor junior engineers.

You will use PLS-CADD and CDEGS for calculations, studies and technical reports, contribute to EMF, earthing and lightning assessments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering qualification and experience in overhead transmission line design.
• Hands-on experience using PLS-CADD and CDEGS.
• Experience conducting EMF, earthing and lightning studies.
• Proven ability to produce designs, calculations, drawings and reports.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake overhead transmission line electrical design on complex projects.
• Use PLS-CADD and CDEGS to develop robust design solutions.
