Job summary
Tetra Pak in Hamilton, NZ is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Automation and Electrical Engineering Team based in our Hamilton office. You will own large projects end‑to‑end, contribute to pricing and commercial decisions, and mentor less experienced engineers.
You will travel 20-30% to customer sites and work with our team to deliver processing solutions for the food and dairy industry. You will be a technical authority representing the Tetra Pak brand, delivering high‑quality
Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering electrical design and build projects across the full project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated capability in pricing projects, developing cost estimates, and managing technical risk during tender and execution phases.
- Strong understanding of AS/NZS Wiring Regulations and applicable electrical standards.
Responsibilities
- Work independently and with a multi-disciplinary team to develop Electrical solutions based on standards.
- Lead electrical engineering scope on medium to large projects from concept to commissioning and handover.
- Support bids and proposals with robust technical and commercial inputs.
