Job summary

ALS Oil & Lubricants Wellington is seeking a Diagnostician/Condition Monitoring Analyst to accurately analyse and interpret results from tests on heavy mining equipment and lubricant oils.

You will identify abnormal conditions, assist clients with root-cause analysis and propose corrective actions. As a senior team member, you will provide support to lab testing, sales and marketing, with comprehensive diagnostic training provided.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to absorb and retain high levels of information.
• Computer literacy with MS Word and Excel.
• Tertiary qualifications in science or engineering.
• Mechanical or diesel/automotive trade knowledge may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret test results on heavy mining equipment and machinery lubricant oils.
• Identify abnormal equipment conditions and assist clients with root-cause analysis.
• Provide holistic support to lab testing, sales and marketing.
