Job summary

Jora New Zealand invites a Senior Developer to join our fast-moving and ambitious development team driving the digital transformation of major logistics operations. You will mentor others, lead architectural discussions, and own end-to-end AWS deployment pipelines while translating business requirements into robust technical roadmaps.

The role requires deep TypeScript proficiency, experience with frontend frameworks, and strong AWS and IaC capabilities, within a collaborative, hybrid work

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in professional software development.
• Proven track record delivering complex frontend and backend solutions.
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript and at least one major frontend framework.
• Strong experience with AWS services, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (CDK/Terraform).
• Leadership mindset with excellent communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team on the design and development of high-performance web and mobile applications.
• Architect scalable, high-quality software solutions and ensure best practices across the codebase.
• Drive architectural discussions, make critical technical decisions, and champion continuous improvement.
• Spearhead our cloud-native transformation, modernizing complex systems and optimizing CI/CD processes.
• Own end-to-end AWS deployment pipelines, from infrastructure provisioning to production release and monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical roadmaps.
