Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Director to lead design and engineering leadership within the Buildings & Places team in Auckland. You will drive multidisciplinary design and delivery across healthcare, aviation, defence, education and commercial projects, influencing how projects are delivered and how teams develop.

You'll bring senior leadership experience, ability to coordinate multiple disciplines, and a track record of delivering complex outcomes for clients. Chartered status is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a building-services, engineering consultancy or multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong client, commercial and project management skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and bring people together.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design and delivery on complex building projects.
• Bring together engineering, architectural and specialist disciplines to solve complex challenges.
• Lead design outcomes, programme, commercial performance, quality and risk.
• Work directly with clients and build long-term relationships.
• Lead, mentor and develop senior engineers and emerging leaders.
• Support major bids, proposals and business development.
