T&G Global Limited in Auckland is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to shape our modern data platform. You’ll design scalable Snowflake models, build dbt pipelines and deliver high-performance SQL solutions that empower analytics and reporting across our enterprise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with enterprise data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
• Deep Snowflake expertise with advanced SQL, RBAC, tasks and Delta Sharing.
• Experience building dbt projects including models, testing, documentation and CI/CD.
• Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into scalable solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with governance and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data models within Snowflake.
• Build and maintain dbt models, tests, documentation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop high‑performing SQL solutions and optimise platform performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Support evolution of the enterprise data platform and analytics capability.
• Contribute to AI-enabled analytics initiatives while ensuring governance.
