Job Summary

Sunnytech Solar is seeking a Business Analyst to act as the company’s in‑house industry researcher and commercial analyst. This is primarily a research and advisory role. The successful candidate will study the New Zealand and international markets for solar generation, lithium battery storage, portable power stations, electric vehicles, EV chargers and charging‑station infrastructure, and translate that research into clear industry and business insight the management team can act on. Working alongside the directors and the sales, technical and operations teams, the Business Analyst will size and test new market opportunities, model the commercial case for entering them, assess what the business would need to change internally to support them, and present recommendations that shape how Sunnytech Solar expands its product range, supply arrangements and business model over the next three to five years.
