Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Scientist to join a pioneering AI research team in Queenstown. You will design, develop, and deploy advanced CV algorithms for image analysis, object detection, tracking, and scene understanding, working closely with software engineers to bring models into production.

A PhD or Master''s in CV-related field, 5+ years of experience, and strong Python/C++ skills are required.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's in CS/EE with CV specialization.
• 5+ years of professional CV R&D experience.
• Proficiency in Python and C++.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate state-of-the-art CV models and algorithms.
• Work with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) to develop solutions for image classification, object detection, segmentation, and tracking.
• Process and analyze large image and video datasets.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate CV models into production systems.
• Conduct research into new CV techniques and technologies.
• Perform rigorous testing and validation of models to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in CV and AI.
