Vessev is building hydrofoiling electric vessels in New Zealand. The Senior Boat Builder will lead end-to-end composite fabrication, ensure quality and safety, and mentor junior teammates in a hands-on, full-time role at our Auckland facility.

You’ll work with advanced materials, tooling, and precise processes to deliver high-performance vessels, while shaping the culture of a growing startup.

Competenze

• 10+ years' experience in composite boat building or advanced composite manufacturing.
• Proven expertise in resin infusion and assembly of large composite parts.
• Ability to interpret build documentation and CAD drawings/engineering instructions.

Mansioni

• Lead end-to-end execution and continuous improvement of critical build processes.
• Fabricate and assemble complex composite structures using resin infusion and pre-preg methods.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and structural integrity of components.
• Define and uphold inspection standards for performance and finish.
• Mentor junior builders and promote safety and professionalism in the workshop.
