Vessev is seeking a Senior Boat Builder to join our hands-on, full-time team in Aotearoa. You’ll lead end-to-end composite fabrication and assembly, applying resin infusion and pre-preg techniques to high‑performance vessels.

You’ll ensure dimensional accuracy, join integrity and safety across the build, while aligning with engineering specs. You’ll mentor junior builders, uphold rigorous inspection standards, and drive continuous improvement in methods, tooling, and workflow in a tightly

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in composite boat building or advanced composite manufacturing.
• Proven expertise in resin infusion and assembly of large composite parts.
• Strong understanding of composite tooling, consumables and safe workshop practices.

Responsabilités

• Composite fabrication and assembly: create complex components using resin infusion and pre-preg methods with dimensional accuracy.
• Locate, fit, bond, tape and finish composite structures per engineering specs.
• Work with tooling, consumables and materials to keep layup and infusion efficient.
