Job description

Are you ready to join us? We're looking for a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our team in Christchurch. Your purpose as part of our team of experienced engineers and technicians is to contribute to developing holistic design solutions for our clients across the South Island.

Who you are…

You will have a Sydney Accord engineering tertiary qualification and highly developed Autodesk Civil 3D and technical reporting skills with experience in infrastructure design and/or land development. As project lead on small to mid-size projects, you will work in a team and communicate ideas with clients and colleagues.

Your daily adventures will include…
  • Obtaining information and data
  • Making decisions and solving problems
  • Communicating within and outside the organisation
  • Developing designs and providing documentation
  • Contract administration
  • Learning and using technical knowledge
  • Coordinating the work and activities of others
  • Inspecting project sites to monitor progress
  • Researching new technologies and optimising software
