A leading elderly care provider is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join their team in Marlborough, New Zealand. The successful candidate will support the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, monitor residents' wellbeing, and participate in the care planning process. Ideal candidates will have an NVQ 3 or equivalent, 2 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills. This role emphasizes a caring and inclusive environment.

As a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Your duties will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
