Role

As a Senior Business Rules Analyst, you7ll play a pivotal role in defining, designing, and managing the business rules that underpin our operational processes, decision logic, and digital systems. Your work will directly support automation, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience as we move to our future state operating model.

What You7ll Be Doing / Ko te mahi
  • Support the work on analysis, documentation, and validation of business rules across systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, analysts, architects, and developers to ensure rules are clear, consistent, and traceable.
  • Establish and maintain a centralised repository of business rules with robust version control and audit trails.
  • Apply decision modelling techniques to represent complex logic and support automation.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise or automate business rules for better outcomes.
  • Design and deliver business rules processes that uplift capability across MSD.
  • Connect with communities of practice to ensure alignment with business process mapping.
  • Build strong relationships across the programme to understand business needs and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Maintain close ties with current state business capability teams to support future alignment.
Requirements
  • Established experience in business rules design and management within complex or regulated environments.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in business rules management systems and decision modelling tools.
