As a Business Analyst within Silver Fern Farms' Transformation and Technology Team, you will play a key role in streamlining processes, capturing requirements, and ensuring that our digital projects are delivering real value.

This role isn't just about business analysis - it's about playing a crucial part in a large-scale transformation that will impact people, farmers, and the planet. If you're ready to combine your analytical skills with a passion for change, this is the place for you.

This role will primarily support the delivery of our Emydex system, which is being deployed to our processing sites across NZ.

The key capabilities of this role require someone who has an interest in, and ideally experience delivering, manufacturing and supply chain solutions. This role also requires someone with a willingness to operate outside of traditional Business Analyst tasks and wear many hats to ensure project delivery is successful.

Your Day-to-Day:

In this role, your focus will be on ensuring that our business processes are well defined and understood across the organisation, with a focus on the digital supply chain, specifically by supporting the delivery of a Manufacturing Execution System delivery. Key responsibilities include:

• Capturing and consolidating business requirements from a range of stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with strategic goals
• Leading gap analysis, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and designing effective digital solutions
• Ensuring consistency and transparency in process mapping and documentation for easy reuse and further enhancements
• Supporting data migrations, performing testing, and overseeing the successful transition of changes into production
• Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to deliver projects on time and within scope
• Providing ad-hoc reporting, performing data queries, and delivering periodic business reports to support decision-making
• Acting as a liaison between stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment across all levels

We are looking for someone with a strong business analysis background, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to navigate complex projects and systems. You'll need to be proactive, adaptable, and passionate about the work we're doing to transform Silver Fern Farms.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst role (or similar)
• Strong experience in business analysis, process mapping, and digital transformation
• A solid understanding of systems and process analysis, gap analysis, and solution design
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and manage expectations
• A passion for improving processes, driving efficiency, and contributing to the strategic success of a purpose-driven organisation
