Job summary

Beca in Tauranga seeks a skilled Bridge Engineer to join our Tauranga bridging team, delivering designs for regional and national projects. You will work on new structures and strengthening existing ones, collaborating with a high-performing team across the region and country.

You will lead design concepts through to detailed designs and construction, with a strong focus on innovation. We support you to pursue Chartered Engineer status in the coming years and provide relocation assistance where

The opportunity

We're looking for a skilled and passionate Bridge Engineer to join our Tauranga bridging team, to work within a high performing team designing new structures and strengthening existing structures. You will work on projects regionally and nationally and will be able to grow and develop your career by working with some of the best engineers in New Zealand. About you

You’ll have exceptional communication skills and enjoy working within a tight-knit team environment, but also have the ability to work collaboratively with the wider business. You will be a motivated bridge designer and seek to enhance the delivery of projects with innovative concepts and ways of working. You will be aware of the full design delivery process from developing concept designs through to detailed designs and construction. Ideally, you will have had experience using parametric design tools and are keen to develop these skills further and lead this aspect on projects. You will be motivated to achieve chartered engineer status within the next couple of years and we will support you in doing this.
