The Opportunity
We're looking for an enthusiastic Intermediate Bridge Designer to join our Tauranga Structures team. You'll contribute to new bridge designs and the assessment and strengthening of existing structures as part of a supportive, high-performing group.
You'll collaborate with experienced engineers on projects across the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and nationwide. This role offers the chance to deepen your technical foundations, broaden your design skills, and gain exposure across the full project lifecycle.

You bring a solid grounding in structural or bridge design, with experience across concept and detailed design, technical calculations, modelling, documentation, and design reviews.
You understand the bridge design process from early investigations through to construction and approach your work with curiosity, proactivity, and a desire to strengthen your technical judgement. Experience with digital or parametric tools is helpful but not essential what matters most is your motivation to learn and grow alongside senior engineers.
You'll be a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or actively working toward chartership, supported by mentoring, structured development pathways, and access to industry experts.
