Job summary

Bay Venues in Tauranga, New Zealand, is seeking a full-time Senior AV Technician to deliver high-quality Audio, Lighting and LED services for events at Mercury Baypark and our facilities. The role requires strong customer service, teamwork and a drive to elevate AV experiences for clients.

Reporting to the AV Operations Manager, you will manage setup, operation and post-event support, with evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience setting up and operating high profile AV events.
• High level of technical competency in Audio, Lighting, LED or Rigging.
• Working knowledge of Lighting, Audio Visual systems.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude and calm under pressure.
• New Zealand Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient AV technical services to event clients.
• Provide high levels of customer service and work as a strong team player.
• Lead and lift the bar in AV experiences for clients.
