Job summary

Ingham Rotorua is seeking two permanent automotive technicians to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with rostered Saturdays. You will service, inspect, and repair vehicles to manufacturer specifications, diagnose faults, and update job cards in dealership systems with high-quality workmanship.

Requirements include a current NZ driver's licence, Level 4 Automotive Engineering qualification (or international equivalent), 5+ years' experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, clean NZ Driver's Licence.
• Level 4 NZ National Certificate in Automotive Engineering (or international equivalent).
• 5+ years’ experience as a qualified automotive mechanic/technician.
• Proficient with dealership management systems (DMS) and diagnostic tools.
• Good English communication and high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, inspections, and repairs to manufacturer specs.
• Diagnose faults using available tools and diagnostic resources.
• Complete jobs to standard and record them in the system promptly.
• Maintain vehicle presentation and workshop safety standards.
