Job summary

Ingham Rotorua is seeking two permanent automotive technicians to join our workshop, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with rostered Saturdays. You will service, inspect, and repair vehicles to manufacturer specifications, diagnose faults using dealer tools, and complete job cards in our DMS system.

You should have a current NZ driver's licence, Level 4 NZ National Certificate in Automotive Engineering, and 5+ years of hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Current NZ Driver's Licence and good English communication.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience as a qualified automotive mechanic/technician.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, inspections, and repairs to Ingham and manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose vehicle faults accurately using the tools, systems, and technical resources available.
• Complete each job to the required standard and document work in the DMS.
• Manage time and workload to meet efficiency targets and communicate additional work promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of customer information.
