Are you a seasoned tech who knows their way around an engine bay and still manages to keep things light-hearted? We’re on the lookout for a skilled Senior Technician to join a well-established, fast-paced workshop alongside a great crew of mechanics based in the North Shore of Auckland.

This isn’t your average “spanner-turning” job - you’ll be leading by example, solving the tricky stuff, and keeping the team running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of vehicles - efficiently and accurately
• Tackling complex electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic challenges
• Performing inspections, servicing, and the occasional WOF (training available if needed)
• Keeping your work area and tools in top shape
• Sharing your knowledge and supporting the rest of the team
• Helping deliver top-tier customer service and workshop quality

What We’re Looking For

• Trade-qualified Automotive Technician (NZQA Level 4 or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a senior or advanced technician
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• Full NZ driver’s licence — WOF authority or EV/hybrid experience a bonus
