Job summary

BDO Manawatu is seeking an experienced Audit Senior / Assistant Audit Manager to join our Audit & Assurance team in Palmerston North. This role offers leadership responsibilities, diverse engagements, and clear career progression within a locally owned, globally connected firm.

You will lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, mentor junior staff, and work closely with Directors and Managers to deliver high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting or equivalent.
• CAANZ qualification completed or nearing completion.
• At least four years' experience in public practice audit.
• Experience in a NZ CA firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Collaborate with Directors/Managers to ensure high-quality service.
• Support leadership and contribute to client relationships.
