Job summary

PwC New Zealand is seeking a Senior Associate in the Risk Management and Independence team to help ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and professional standards. You’ll engage with local and global teams, applying attention to detail and strong communication to support risk controls.

You’ll contribute to testing and improving RM&I tools, preparing training materials, and maintaining documentation within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Around 4 years’ experience in risk management, independence, compliance, or a related field within professional services or the financial services industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and build effective working relationships.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to PwC people on RM&I tools, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with testing, rollout, and continuous improvement of global RM&I tools and systems across PwC NZ.
  • Review compliance activities and support quality assurance to meet regulatory and internal policy requirements.
  • Prepare communications, training materials, and presentations to educate staff through compliance processes.
  • Support RM&I team by resolving queries and maintaining evidence for the Quality Management System.

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and web-based systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt tonew technologies.
