Reserve Bank of New Zealand is seeking a collaborative Senior Analyst in the FMI Supervision team to strengthen supervisory analysis and advice across robust risk frameworks. Help safeguard the systems that underpin New Zealand's financial markets. In this role, you'll join the team supervising financial market infrastructures (FMIs) - the critical systems that settle and record payments and securities. You'll engage directly with systemically important FMI with a focus on securities clearing and settlement. You'll apply the Financial Market Infrastructures Act 2021 and FMI standards, lead analytical reviews, and test how well these organisations are managing resilience, governance and strategic risks. You'll also work closely with the Financial Markets Authority as joint supervisor of FMI, and help shape policy thinking within the RBNZ as technology, products, cyber risks and geopolitical pressures continue to evolve.
