Job summary

SkyCity Entertainment Group invites a senior AML/CFT professional to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing oversight of the AML/CFT Programme for SkyCity's New Zealand Online Casino. You will work with regulators, senior leaders, and governance committees to shape compliance culture and regulatory engagement strategy for a newly licensed online gaming operation.

The role focuses on establishing and maintaining robust financial crime controls and facilitating a compliant, customer-centric

Qualifications

10+ years' experience in financial crime, AML/CFT, compliance, risk, banking, fintech, gaming, or related industry.
Experience engaging with regulators and managing complex regulatory obligations.
Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence across all levels of an organisation.
Track record of building and improving risk and compliance frameworks in evolving environments.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain the AML/CFT Compliance Programme.
Lead enterprise-wide financial crime risk assessments across customers, products, payments, technologies, third parties, and jurisdictions.
Develop governance reporting and deliver insights to executives, regulators, and Board committees.
Oversee customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, transaction monitoring, SARs, and high-risk reviews.
Build relationships with regulators including the Department of Internal Affairs and NZ Police FINU.
Drive AML/CFT awareness, capability, and culture across the online business.
Simplify processes to be customer-centric while making sound risk decisions.
