Job summary

Airways New Zealand is seeking a Senior Operational Safety Specialist for Air Traffic Services. Qualifications

• Significant experience in safety and risk management, ideally in aviation or air traffic management.
• Ability to analyse complex information, identify trends and communicate insights.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety risk assessments and safety improvement workstreams.
• Conduct occurrence analyses and investigations; support safety assurance activities.
• Analyse safety trends, emerging risks and drive continuous improvement across ATS.
• Coordinate safety workshops, learning reviews and engagement across stakeholders.

Education

Tertiary qualification in aviation safety management or risk management
