Job summary

G2i Inc. is seeking a senior software engineer to evaluate AI coding agents. You won't write production code; you'll assess whether the model thinks like a great engineer in real-world scenarios.

Responsibilities include judging usefulness, accuracy, and engineering judgment, and providing clear, opinionated feedback. This remote contract runs 10–20 hrs/week with flexible scheduling.

Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript or Python and familiarity with Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor are preferred.

Qualifications

• Senior, Staff or Principal level engineer (or equivalent).
• Strong English (B2 or above) with clear feedback.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted dev workflows.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end to end.
• Judge usefulness, correctness, and engineering judgment.
• Provide clear, opinionated feedback in writing and video.
• Help define what great looks like with coding agents.
