Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) – New Zealand Food Safety is seeking a Senior Adviser for a fixed-term post in Wellington. You will coordinate briefings, reporting and official correspondence to senior leaders, officials and Ministers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will provide high-quality advice, support strategic initiatives, and manage key documents, annual review coordination and ministerial reporting in a fast-paced public sector environment.

Qualificações

• Strong drafting, proofreading and analysis skills for official documents.
• Ability to engage effectively with senior leaders and Minister's office.
• Thorough understanding of strategic project reporting.
• Ability to use a range of digital productivity tools.

Responsabilidades

• Assuring the quality of briefings, replies, and correspondence.
• Tracking, reviewing, and coordinating key NZFS documents.
• Leading Annual Review and Estimates coordination.
• Collating weekly and monthly reporting for the Minister.
• Supporting the DDG with timely, accurate information on strategic initiatives.
