A healthcare organization in Canterbury is seeking a Senior Administrator to provide vital administrative support for their management teams. The role requires strong administration experience in a healthcare setting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This part-time position (24-30 hours per week) is focused on collaborative working across various teams, ensuring operational tasks and compliance duties are handled effectively.
Are you an experienced Administrator passionate about supporting healthcare services? Canterbury Integrated Healthcare are looking for a Senior Administrator to provide vital support to our Head Office, Digital Transformation and ARRS teams.You would ideally be working between 24-30 hours per week, have administration experience in a healthcare setting and be able to demonstrate managing your own workload proactively and flexibly.
The Senior Administrator role is primarily responsible for supporting the CIH management team and the ARRS teams in the collaborative delivery of services. You need to take a autonomous approach in ensuring different workstreams and tasks are completed at appropriate intervals.

Canterbury IntegratedHealthcare supports the 7 Canterbury practices and their PCNs covering apatient population of around 100,000 and we have worked together for many years.The local carevision in East Kent is for localities to develop a model of care that enablespeople to live as independently as possible by delivering high quality, personcentred care that integrates hospital, social care, community and voluntaryservices around primary care networks of GP practices. The vision for Canterbury is for the two PCNs to work together to achieve excellent patient care through integrated pathways accessed close to home via local GP practices.
It is important tonote that responsibilities will be varied and dependent upon CIH needs and thisis not designed to be an exhaustive list. The role will require the ability to multi-task while also having strong attention to detail, and flexibility giving the evolving nature of the role. The following are the core responsibilities of the role:
General Admin Support
Provide high quality administrativesupport to the CIH team as required
Support for CIH meetings to includecoordination and circulation of agenda, taking notes, maintaining action logsas required
Collate data and produce reports as andwhen required
Manage the generic email inbox andco-ordinate communication with the CIH team as appropriate
Support with rota planning and coverarrangements
Support with Education and TrainingAdmin from time to time
Liaise with the Canterbury Care Homeand MDT Clinical Leads as required
Liaise with practices to ensure good understandingof service requirements, update process and administrative changes asnecessary
Act as a point of contact for practicesand CIH staff as necessary
Support with TeamNet and communications
Running regular audits and reports as needed by the CIH management team
To keep up-to-date with the Policies and Procedures
Other administrative duties commensurate with the role
Support Service Delivery
Undertakeany administrative tasks consistent with the level of the post and the scope ofthe role, ensuring that work is delivered in a timely and effective manner
Understand the requirements and support the delivery ofcommissioned services and contracts
Liaise with practices and contractors as needed
Support in the collection of data and information to aidcompliance and performance activities
Compliance and Assurance administrative support
Help with Health and Safety activities such as regularchecks and risk assessments and ensuring paperwork and reporting maintained andaccessible
Support record keeping, audits and activities related to CQCassurance reporting
Help maintain accurate asset registers
Ensure significant event reporting system is maintained - following up with tasks, gaining more information and liaising with third parties as and when required
Support Information Governance systems and reporting
