KPMG New Zealand is seeking an energetic qualified life insurance actuary to join our growing Actuarial & Insurance Risk team. You will work across insurance lines and risk management engagements, collaborating with Consulting and Audit colleagues to deliver valuable insights for clients and the firm.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified actuary with life insurance experience.
• Strong client relationship skills and ability to win new business.
• Proven problem solving and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including with senior leaders.

Aufgaben

• Perform actuarial modelling and valuation for financial reporting, remediation, due diligence or external audit.
• Assist clients with climate risk management, modelling and reporting.
• Develop and enhance actuarial and risk reporting to improve efficiency.
• Engage in reinsurance and capital optimisation modelling.
• Contribute across engagements using sector knowledge to add client value.
