About The Role

As a BAS Accountant, you will work with clients to plan for sustainable business growth by identifying their business issues, creating a plan, and making it happen. You will handle a variety of tasks, including external reporting, management accounting, and tax preparation, while providing expert advice and developing strong client relationships.

Our team provides personalised services to clients based on their unique needs and to meet the challenges at every stage of their life cycle. To excel in you will need to not only understand financial concepts, but also be a great communicator, be able to work with and without guidance and as part of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply accounting standards, prepare financial statements, and manage reporting functions
  • Prepare management reports, budgets, and cash flows for client
  • Stay updated on tax laws, prepare accurate tax returns, and identify tax planning opportunities
  • Identify business issues, create growth plans, and advise on financial matters
  • Understand filing requirements, identify trust opportunities, and implement accounting packages.

Experience
