We seek an innovative and enthusiastic practitioner to lead our experienced staff and well resourced learning support programmes, to ensure learning opportunities are provided for our students who need it the most. The position includes teaching two classes, so please state your speciality teaching area.
Position to commence 28 January 2027.
The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement (CA) https://www.education.govt.nz/school/people-and-employment/employment-agreements/collective-agreements/secondary-teachers-collective-agreement/ Horowhenua College is an AEWV employer. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from Step 5, $78,768 to Step 10, $107,886 depending on applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individuals’ actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed. The position is 40 hours per week and 52 weeks per year. The place of work is Horowhenua College, Levin.
