Seismic Restraint Engineer

Join a dynamic team shaping New Zealand’s seismic resilience. We’re looking for a Structural or Mechanical Engineer to join our well-established team delivering seismic engineering projects across Aotearoa. In this role, you will:

  • Work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment on meaningful projects.
  • Gain hands-on experience in planning and executing seismic restraint solutions.
  • Contribute to a supportive, social team culture.
  • Apply your engineering knowledge and judgment to projects of varying scale and complexity.
  • Help strengthen the resilience of New Zealand’s infrastructure.
About you

We’re keen to hear from you if you are:

  • A qualified Structural or Mechanical Engineer with an interest in seismic design for building services, ceilings, partitions, or other non-structural elements.
  • Familiar with undertaking analysis/design for seismic restraint of building services components, ceilings, partitions, and other non-structural components or willing to learn.
  • Familiar with New Zealand standards such as NZS1170 and NZS4219—or eager to learn.
  • From a consulting or construction background, with a passion for delivering great outcomes and building strong relationships.
  • A team player who enjoys solving problems and working collaboratively.
  • Curious and open to learning about building services systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) and interior construction.
