Job summary

PGG Wrightson Seeds is seeking a Processing Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our seed processing and dressing facility. This hands-on leadership role focuses on quality, safety, and operational excellence, coordinating production targets and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will supervise seed cleaning, processing, and coating lines, coach team members, and ensure procedures are followed. Forklift certification is essential; training can be provided.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or leadership experience.
• Ability to coach and develop a team.
• Seed processing or seed dressing experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of machinery and farming is advantageous but not essential.
• Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain equipment.
• Experience in training and coaching is desirable.
• Forklift Certificate is essential (Training can be provided).
• Great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee seed cleaning, processing and coating production lines.
• Supervise staff operating the coating plant and ensure procedures are followed.
• Monitor outputs and review samples to meet quality standards.
• Support training and adoption of best practices within the team.
• Troubleshoot operational and machinery issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
