Job summary

Based at our Hinds Seed Cleaning site, this Seed Machine Operator role is part of the team responsible for cleaning, processing, and preparing seed for our customers across Mid Canterbury and beyond. You’ll operate seed cleaning machinery, set up equipment for different seed types, monitor quality and output, and help keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor seed cleaning machinery and equipment.
Set up and adjust machinery for different seed types and processing jobs.
Carry out basic troubleshooting, cleaning, and general maintenance of machinery.
Support seed intake, processing, packing, loading, and dispatch activities.
Complete production records and required paperwork accurately.
Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe.
Work with the wider processing team to keep jobs moving efficiently.
Follow all health and safety and company procedures.
