• 3+ years’ experience in security systems.
• PSPLA (COA) licence or ability to obtain one.
• Full, clean NZ Driver’s Licence.

We’re looking for a skilled Security Technician to join our Client in Hawkes Bay who’s passionate about safety, innovation, and quality workmanship.
As a Security Technician, you’ll install, maintain, and troubleshoot cutting-edge security systems—from CCTV and alarms to access control—while playing a key role in mentoring apprentices and setting the gold standard for service.
Hawkes Bay-based, with occasional travel by arrangement. Every day’s different, but your impact is constant.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Installing and upgrading security systems (alarms, CCTV, access control, and wiring)
• Diagnosing and repairing faults with precision and efficiency
• Following NZSA and Health & Safety compliance at every step
• Mentoring apprentices and guiding junior staff
• Documenting and reporting work clearly and accurately
• Delivering top-tier customer service on every job

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years’ experience in security systems
• PSPLA (COA) licence (or ability to get one)
• Full, clean NZ Driver’s Licence
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills with client-focused outcomes
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A knack for problem-solving and attention to detail
• Computer proficiency and great organisational skills
• Your own hand tools and 2+ references
• Able to pass a health & drug screening
