Job summary

FIRST Security is seeking reliable and customer-focused Security Guards to join the Timaru team. The role offers flexible, rotational shifts across a range of days, with opportunities for career development in security.

Key duties include maintaining a strong security presence, delivering excellent customer service, monitoring incidents, conducting patrols, and following health and safety procedures at all times. Applicants need to be 18+, have a clean record, and be eligible to work in NZ.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• A clean criminal record.
• Be flexible and available to work across a range of days.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• NZ citizenship or a valid NZ work visa.
• A current COA is preferred but not essential — we can help you obtain one.
