Job summary

Bella Vista Motel Franz Josef Glacier is seeking a motivated housekeeper for the summer season starting in September. You will work as part of a friendly team to keep rooms clean and well presented.

Hours are typically 9am–2pm, 5–6 days a week, with reception duties 2pm–6pm; minimum 15 hours weekly rising to 30–40 during peak times, at a starting rate of NZD 25 per hour. A caravan accommodation option is available at a shared cost.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and customer service oriented.
• Fluent English required; valid NZ working visa and active IRD number.

Responsibilities

• Strip and clean motel rooms, make beds, vacuum and mop floors; general housekeeping tasks.
• Reception duties: check-in guests, provide local travel advice, answer phone calls and emails, laundry duties.
