Job summary

T&G Fresh, part of T&G Global Limited in Kerikeri, New Zealand, is seeking seasonal Harvesters for the blueberry harvest season. Training will be provided on-site, and no prior horticulture experience is required.

You will work as part of a cooperative team to pick blueberries and support pruning tasks. Applicants should be reliable, punctual, and able to perform physical work including lifting up to 25 kg.

Qualifications

• No prior horticulture experience required; onsite training provided.
• Must be reliable and able to work in a team.
• Physically capable of walking, bending and lifting up to 25 kg.
• Able to follow instructions and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Picking blueberries and supporting blueberry crop pruning.

About the opportunity

We're looking for seasonal Harvesters to join our team for the blueberry harvest season, with induction opportunities coming up over the next few weeks.

• This work involves picking blueberries and pruning the blueberry crops.

• No experience necessary, full training provided

About you

You do not need any previous experience or skills in horticulture as onsite training is provided!

• A positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skills

• The ability to do physical work including walking, bending, lifting up to 25kg

• Ability to accurately identify fruit colours and ripeness when picking to meet quality standards

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Punctual and consistent

• Reliable transport

• Comfortable working in warm temperatures
