Job summary
AWF Limited in Dunedin seeks an experienced Class 2 Driver with WTR endorsements to join our busy sealing crew across the South Island. You’ll drive, assist with road prep, and travel with the team while earning competitive pay.
Role includes operating tractors and roading plant, performing daily safety checks, and supporting a close-knit crew on site. Accommodation is provided while away, with camp allowance options and consistent full-time work during the sealing season.
Qualifications
- Class 2 Licence is essential.
- Current WTR endorsements are essential.
- Experience in civil roading, maintenance, or sealing preferred.
- Experience operating tractors, rollers, or similar machinery recommended.
- Strong health and safety commitment must be demonstrated.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home for extended periods.
- Full New Zealand working rights.
Responsibilities
- Operate tractor with hydraulic broom to prepare road surfaces.
- Drive Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles as required.
- Operate roading plant including rollers and water carts.
- Assist with pre-seal repairs and road prep tasks.
- Perform daily vehicle and equipment checks; maintain a safe site.
- Collaborate with sealing crew to deliver projects on time.
