Job summary

Cashmere High School in Christchurch invites applications for a full-time, permanent Science Teacher. You will deliver engaging teaching across science disciplines and contribute to a high-quality learning programme that supports student success.

The successful candidate will be NZ registered, able to create an inclusive classroom, collaborate with colleagues, and participate in the school’s co-curricular programme. Experience in senior Chemistry, Physics or Earth Space Science is advantageous.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher for this position. The successful candidate will inspire students to strive for excellence and will be committed to delivering a high-quality teaching and learning programme.

This is a full-time, permanent position beginning on 28 January 2027.

Please state your senior subjects and other supporting subjects in your cover letter. Experience in teaching senior Chemistry, Physics or Earth Space Science would be advantageous.
