We are seeking a specialist science teacher to join our team at ANI for a permanent position starting at the beginning of Term 1 2026
ANI has a number of specialist teachers including science, the arts, physical education, technology and languages who work alongside the classroom teachers. At ANI, the science teacher has one full day of release each week for team meetings, planning, observations and opportunities to coordinate school initiatives.
You will be entitled to a Normal School allowance of $2,000 - this is in recognition that you will have training teachers in your class.
ANI also offers the highly sought after International Baccalaureate, Primary Years Programme (PYP) programme that is the framework sitting alongside and compliments the NZ Curriculum. If you are not familiar with this, full professional development will be provided on how this is coordinated alongside the specialist programmes.
