Job summary

The Ag Emissions Centre, part of AgResearch, is New Zealand's centre for agricultural emissions research. This role focuses on translating scientific knowledge into practical outcomes for farmers and growers, while coordinating projects and shaping research priorities.

We seek an early-to-mid career professional with post-graduate qualifications and at least 2 years’ experience in agricultural emissions research or related fields, offering hybrid work and strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• A relevant post-graduate tertiary qualification (PhD, master’s degree or post-graduate diploma).
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience post-graduation in a relevant scientific discipline, working in agricultural greenhouse gas emissions research or the agricultural sector.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver the domestic research programme and shape scientific priorities.
• Coordinate projects focused on reducing agricultural greenhouse gas emissions.
• Translate scientific knowledge into clear, practical outcomes for farmers and growers.
