Our fabulous school has a fixed-term Scale A teaching position for 2026. The vacancy is in a Y5-6 classroom. Opportunities rarely come up at Lakeview School, as our staff just love being part of our wonderful school community.

For structured literacy we are an Ideal platform school, and for maths we use Numicon in Y1-6. You will be provided with high-quality professional development. All of our teachers also have a commitment to learning and teaching te reo Māori, which is a compulsory subject for all students.

All Lakeview School classes are single cell, and we have a strong commitment to PB4L. We are well resourced with ICT tools, but also place a strong emphasis on writing in books made of paper, and reading books, also made of paper. Some might say we’re a little ‘old school’ and we make no apologies for being so.

If the advertisement appeals to you, we would love you to apply. There is no application pack, just send in your CV and a cover letter.
